KS1 Teacher - Blackburn | September 2026 StartKey Stage 1 Teacher Location: Blackburn Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, initially for one term (with the potential to be extended) Salary: M1-M6 (dependent on experience) Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? We are partnering with a friendly and supportive primary school in Blackburn that is seeking an inspiring KS1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time role for the Autumn Term, with the potential for the position to be extended or become permanent. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about helping young learners thrive. The RoleAs the successful KS1 Teacher, you will: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils. • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. • Attend staff meetings, parent's evenings, and other school events as required. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's vision and raise pupil achievement. The Ideal Candidate • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (including placements for ECTs). • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills. • Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. • Has excellent communication and organisational skills. • Is passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential.
