Job description

KS2 Teacher Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable KS2 Teachers to support a number of our partner schools across Bradford. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate educators. This is a fantastic opportunity for KS2 Teachers who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children in the later stages of primary education. Roles may include working within Year 3 to Year 6 classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or teaching within dedicated SEN provisions. Key Responsibilities: • Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum • Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress • Preparing pupils for statutory assessments (including SATs where applicable) • Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development • Working collaboratively with support staff, parents and the wider school team What We're Looking For: • A confident and proactive KS2 Teacher • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience teaching within KS2 • A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools • A genuine passion for inspiring and motivating pupils • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS application Why work with Academics? • Flexible work to suit your availability • Opportunities across a range of Bradford schools • Support from a dedicated education recruitment team • Potential for long-term and permanent roles
