We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the PR5 area of Preston that is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role for the Autumn Term, with the possibility of the position being extended as the school is considering recruiting on a permanent basis. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey or an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge, we'd love to hear from you. The RoleAs the successful KS2 Teacher, you will: • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum. • Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress. • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. • Attend staff meetings, parent's evenings, and other school events as required. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. The Ideal Candidate • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (including placements for ECTs). • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills. • Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
