The Role
Zest Education is proud to be working with a number of well-established mainstream primary schools across Stafford to recruit an experienced, motivated and passionate KS2 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who thrives in a dynamic classroom environment and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will take full responsibility for a KS2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school.
The successful candidate will be joining a supportive school community where creativity, high expectations and a love of learning are at the heart of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform next steps
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Contribute to school initiatives, events and extracurricular opportunities
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and share best practice

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching across the KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and a nurturing, supportive approach
• A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
