Learning & Development Partner - Children's ServicesLocation: Home-based with regular regional travel Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) Are you passionate about developing people and improving outcomes for children and young people? We're working with a well-established provider of children's residential services that is looking to appoint an experienced Learning & Development Partner to support the delivery of high-quality training across its national care network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in children's residential care who is ready to use their expertise to develop, coach, and inspire others. The RoleAs a Learning & Development Partner, you'll deliver engaging and impactful training to new and existing colleagues, helping to ensure teams have the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to provide outstanding care and support. Working closely with the wider Learning & Development team, you'll contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning programmes while acting as a subject matter expert within your specialist area. Training topics may include: • Safeguarding Children • Positive Behaviour Support approaches • Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Missing From Home (MFH) • Emergency First Aid at Work • Medication Awareness • Ligature Awareness • Induction and onboarding programmes Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging and compliant training programmes across children's residential services. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance learning materials. • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement. • Maintain accurate training records and administration. • Keep training content aligned with current legislation, regulation, and best practice. • Act as a specialist lead within an area of expertise. • Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and excellence. About YouYou'll ideally have: Essential • A minimum of 3 years' experience within children's residential services. • Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding, and best practice within children's social care. • Relevant qualifications relating to mandatory training subjects. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong IT, literacy, and organisational skills. • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Desirable • Previous experience delivering training. • A recognised training or teaching qualification. • Experience coordinating resources and managing training schedules.
