Labourer / Multi-Skilled Operative Location: Peterborough (must be based within 20 miles of Spalding) Hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (45 hours per week after breaks) Pay: £13.50–£16.00 per hour (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate start required, prior to 26th May About the Role We are looking for a reliable and experienced Labourer / multi-skilled operative to join our client, an award winning building contractor. Working on a planned maintenance contract focused on kitchens and bathrooms across properties in the Peterborough area. This is a hands-on role suited to a practical all-rounder with solid construction experience and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities • Assisting with kitchen and bathroom refurbishments as part of a planned maintenance programme • Removal and demolition of existing fixtures and fittings • Chopping out floors/walls for shower trays and pipework • Patching, making good, and general preparation works • Supporting a range of general building and refurbishment tasks as required • Working efficiently to meet programme deadlines and quality standards Requirements Essential: • Previous construction experience • Full UK driving licence • Must live within 20 miles of Spalding due to early start times (7:00am) Desirable (strong preference given): • CSCS card • Asbestos Awareness certification • Experience as a general all-rounder within domestic refurbishment What We Offer • Competitive pay rate based on experience (£13.50–£16.00 equivalent to salary of £31.590 - £37,400) • Consistent hours (45 hours per week) • Ongoing work on a structured planned maintenance contract • Immediate start for the right candidate To apply, candidates should be available to start asap and able to reliably travel to sites in the Peterborough area.
