Landscape Operative • Hourly Rate: £15.00 • Location: Local Parish Council • Job Type: Temporary Contract (Minimum of 2 months) We are seeking a Landscape Operative to join our team on a temporary basis for a minimum of two months. This role involves maintaining the aesthetics of local community spaces by cutting grass and trimming hedges. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, a clean driving licence, and familiarity with using ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment. Day-to-day of the role: • Cutting grass and maintaining lawns across various council properties. • Trimming hedges and performing general garden maintenance to ensure a neat and tidy appearance. • Operating ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. • Adhering to all health and safety regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Landscape Operative. • Clean driving licence. • Experience with ride-on mowers and other landscaping equipment. • Ability to start work next week. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
