If you're ready to develop your career while working with a team that is committed to excellence, we would love to hear from you What you will bring to the role As Lead Nurse for Stroke Services, you will: • Provide visible clinical leadership across the stroke pathway, including hyperacute, acute, rehabilitation, and community interfaces. • Lead the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care that reflects national best practice and evidence-based standards. • Support the achievement and maintenance of key performance indicators, national stroke audits, and quality standards. • Drive service improvement initiatives, innovation, and transformation programmes. • Lead workforce planning, staff development, recruitment, and retention strategies. • Promote a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and professional excellence. • Work collaboratively with medical, therapy, operational, and executive colleagues to deliver strategic objectives. • Ensure robust clinical governance arrangements, risk management, and patient safety processes are embedded throughout the service. • Act as a professional role model and advocate for patients, carers, and staff.
