Lead Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the Physiotherapy team in developing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the service on an operational day to day basis. This includes both an inpatient and outpatient service. • Use highly developed clinical reasoning and an evidenced based approach in the advanced assessment and treatment of individuals with a variety of complex neurological presentations. • Determine a clinical diagnosis and develop a treatment plan with holistic SMART goals alongside the patient and team. • Demonstrate clinical effectiveness by use of outcomes measures. • Ensure high standards of professionalism and clinical care through day-to-day management, supervision, training and staff development to ensure staff are working within their competencies. • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach to service delivery. • Demonstrate professional and effective communication with residents, families, MDT (and wider team at Hunters Moor), commissioners and external agencies. • Work collaboratively with the therapy manager, MDT and service manager to influence development and ensure an excellent quality of care is provided. • Maintain CPD and development in line with the needs of the service. • Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.
