We're looking for a Learning Support Administration Apprentice to join our Inclusive Learning team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. Term Time Only(TTO) - 42 weeks per annum. As part of our Learning Support team, you'll develop a broad range of administrative skills while helping to ensure learners with additional needs receive the support they need to thrive. What you'll do: • Be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the Learning Support department. • Provide administrative support for learners with SEND and those accessing Learning Support services. • Assist with the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and associated statutory processes. • Maintain accurate digital records and support data entry for funding, reporting and audit requirements. • Help coordinate meetings by arranging rooms and supporting communication with parents, carers, staff and external agencies. • Monitor and manage the Learning Support inbox, directing enquiries to the appropriate team members. • Support daily communications with students and parents/carers. • Order stationery and maintain office supplies. • Work closely with the Learning Support Administrator and Funding & Compliance Officer to ensure the smooth running of the department. What we're looking for: • A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these as part of the apprenticeship. • Good ICT skills, including Microsoft Office, or a willingness to develop these further. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of tasks. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • The ability to work accurately and maintain confidentiality. • A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach. • The ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team. • Flexibility to work across College campuses when required.
