Job description

I am currently working with an Ofsted Good secondary school based in the Barking and Dagenham, East London. They are currently in need of a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant that has experience with various special needs or challenging behaviour. The role will be supporting pupils with moderate and mild forms of SEN such as adhd, autism and dyslexia as well as some behavioural difficulties. It will be a varied role. Learning Support Assistant: The position is open to Learning Support Assistants that have experience in both primary or secondary as they are transferable skills. You will be joining a successful school that can provide multiple opportunities This school offer a range of professional development opportunities. Youll be working with students on a 1:1 and group basis. The school is located in well-served location for transport however there is no parking on site. ___________________________________________________________________________ Learning Support Assistant: Location: East London - Barking and Dagenham Position: Learning Support Assistant Type of work : Supporting the designated student with their specific needs, ideally someone who has a wide range of experience. Contract or position starting date: September Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - ongoing until the end of the school year with view of extension. Full time/part time: Full time ONLY Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm ___________________________________________________________________________ Learning Support Assistant, Training & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (Desirable) A real passion to get into teaching Experience working as a teaching assistant / Experience working with a wide range of Special education needs (Desirable but not essential) Reliable, Punctual and Committed (Essential) Please let me know if you are interested ASAP.
