Learning Support Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants & HLTAs – Bexley Location: Bexley and surrounding areas Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities available We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), SEN Teaching Assistants, and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of primary, secondary, and specialist schools throughout Bexley. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience supporting children and young people with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Speech and Language Needs, and Complex Needs. The Role • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs • Supporting learning within the classroom and specialist settings • Assisting pupils with academic, social, and emotional development • Encouraging independence and positive behaviour • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals • Following EHCPs and individual support plans • Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment HLTA Opportunities For HLTA positions, duties may include: • Leading intervention groups • Delivering pre-planned lessons • Providing classroom cover when required • Supporting teachers with assessment and pupil progress What We're Looking For • Previous experience working with children or young people • SEN experience is desirable but not essential for all roles • A positive, patient, and adaptable approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • A genuine passion for supporting young people • HLTA qualification or relevant experience for HLTA vacancies Suitable Backgrounds We welcome applications from: • Learning Support Assistants • SEN Teaching Assistants • HLTAs • Behaviour Mentors • Youth Workers • Support Workers • Care Assistants • Psychology, Education, or Childhood Studies Graduates • Individuals looking to build a career in education What We Offer • Flexible day-to-day, long-term, and permanent opportunities • Competitive rates of pay • Roles across a variety of mainstream and specialist schools • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant • Access to training and development opportunities If you're passionate about making a difference and helping pupils reach their full potential, we'd love to hear from you.
