Job Category: SEND Job Type: Full Time, Temporary Job Location: Wigan /Leigh areas Pay Rate: £95 – 110 per day Start Date: September 2026 (Flexible) About the role: EdStaff are working with a number of SEND provisions and Mainstream schools across the Wigan and Leigh areas and are already receiving requests for dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants/ Learning support assistants for roles from September. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis or support small groups of learners to make progress through learning opportunities to suit their individual needs. This role is suitable for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and with a nurturing and patient approach. You will contribute to creating a positive learning environment and support both the academic and emotional development of pupils. You should be able to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff and efficiently integrate yourself into a school community.
