Description
• Providing comprehensive administrative and organisational support to fee earners.
• Managing diaries, email inboxes, appointments and correspondence.
• Assisting with document preparation, formatting, proof-reading and report production.
• Printing, scanning, filing and collating legal documentation.
• Supporting client onboarding and matter opening processes, ensuring accurate system updates.
• Coordinating meetings, conference calls and client events, including travel and accommodation arrangements where required.
• Assisting with court bundles, legal filings and liaising with relevant external bodies.
• Processing billing information, expense claims and time recording data.
• Conducting searches and administrative research as required.
• Supporting business development and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborating with colleagues to provide administrative cover and maintain high service standards.
• Assisting senior support staff and undertaking ad hoc projects as required.
Profile
• Previous administrative experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent typing and document formatting abilities.
• A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn, adapt and take on new responsibilities.
• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent; a degree or relevant administrative qualification would be advantageous.
