Are you a qualified solicitor with expertise in corporate and commercial law? We are recruiting on behalf of our client looking for a Legal Counsel - Commercial to join their growing team in Worcestershire. This is a fantastic chance to work within a new and expanding team that plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality legal services across the organisation. As Legal Counsel - Commercial, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, managing your own caseload, and supporting key stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality legal services across commercial, corporate, and regulatory law relevant to the organisation's operations. • Manage your own caseload of legal work while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Provide legal advice to internal teams and oversee the provision of legal support across various matters. • Liaise with external legal providers and assist senior management in monitoring legal spend and invoice analysis. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery. About You: • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent), with additional practising rights if CILEX-qualified. • Proven experience delivering legal services within an in-house environment or similar setting. • Strong project management skills, with experience managing varied caseloads and meeting deadlines. • Comprehensive knowledge of drafting contracts, contractual interpretation, and working within complex regulatory frameworks. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.
