Responsibilities • Lead strategic AI and innovation initiatives across legal practices and client programmes • Identify and develop opportunities to transform legal services through automation, data, and process redesign • Support the delivery of client-facing innovation projects and contribute to pitches and demonstrations • Represent the firm at external events and industry forums on legal technology topics • Manage complex innovation projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams from design to deployment • Advise partners, lawyers, and senior staff on the application of AI and legal technology solutions • Drive change management activities to ensure successful adoption and integration of new tools • Evaluate emerging legal technologies, vendors, and market developments to inform strategic decisions • Contribute to governance frameworks, monitor solution quality, and measure success via relevant metrics • Mentor and develop team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and best practice standards Qualifications • 3-5 years’ experience in legal technology, legal innovation, AI, or related fields • Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in any subject • Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as lawyers and partners to implement innovative solutions • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms like Harvey, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, or similar • Strong understanding of AI use cases within legal services, including research, drafting, knowledge management, and automation • Experience leading stakeholder engagement, training, and change management activities • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills • Commercial awareness of legal service delivery models and processes • A genuine interest in emerging technologies and their application in professional environments
