Senior Lettings Negotiator / Junior Valuer Location: Wigston, Leicester Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Basic (Dependent on Experience) OTE: £35,000 - £40,000+ Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Weekend Work: None, except occasional cover for holiday or sickness absence. The Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator / Junior Valuer to join my clients successful and busy independent estate agency. This is predominantly a lettings-focused role (approximately 80%) with an opportunity to develop further within residential sales and valuations (approximately 20%). The ideal candidate will already possess strong lettings experience and have some exposure to sales and property valuations, making this an excellent progression opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their property career. Key Responsibilities Lettings (80%) • Registering and qualifying applicants. • Conducting property viewings. • Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants. • Managing the full lettings process from enquiry through to move-in. • Generating new business opportunities and landlord instructions. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants. • Progressing tenancies and ensuring compliance requirements are met. Sales & Valuations (20%) • Supporting the sales team with applicant management and sales progression. • Assisting with market appraisals and valuation appointments. • Identifying opportunities to generate sales instructions. • Contributing to overall branch performance and revenue growth. About You The successful candidate will: • Have previous experience within residential lettings. • Ideally possess sales experience within estate agency. • Have exposure to property valuations or be keen to develop valuation skills. • Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Be commercially aware and target-driven. • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Be confident generating and winning new business. • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
