We are looking for a number of customer focused and proactive Library Assistants to join our Customer Service team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive and supportive environment for students. Whether you are helping a student find the information they need, supporting them with technology, maintaining a productive study environment, or simply offering a friendly welcome, your contribution will have a direct impact on the student experience. What you will be doing: As a Library Assistant, you will: • Deliver outstanding customer service to students, staff and visitors. • Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, providing advice and guidance on Library services and resources. • Support students in making effective use of library technologies, including self-service equipment, printing and photocopying facilities. • Help create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where students can study confidently and successfully. We are looking for people who are passionate about providing an excellent customer experience, enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. We have 3 posts available. LR4122 is a permanent evening position, and part-time at 14 hours per week. LR4091 is a permanent evening position, and part-time at 10 hours per week. LR4100 is a permanent weekend post, and part-time at 6.5 hours per week, 48 weeks per year.
