Linux Platform Engineer / Linux Systems Administrator6 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working A leading telecommunications company is looking for an experienced Linux Platform Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale, high-availability customer platform. Working within an Agile operations team, you'll be responsible for Linux administration, platform maintenance, patching, deployments, capacity management, incident resolution, and supporting the evolution of a next-generation platform. Essential Skills • Linux Systems Administration • Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability environments • VMware • Docker, Podman or container technologies • Strong operational support and troubleshooting experience • Security-focused approach to platform management Desirable Skills • Bash scripting • SQL • Kafka, Cassandra or Hazelcast • Monitoring tools (e.g. CheckMK, Selenium) • IP Networking and RADIUS • SIEM tools If you have a strong Linux infrastructure background and experience supporting enterprise-scale platforms, we'd like to hear from you.
