Live-in Housekeeper - Bayswater, London Salary: £46,000-£50,000 DOE Schedule: Monday to Friday | Full-time (approximately 9:00am-8:00pm with a 1-2 hour break during the day) When the family are on holiday the hours can be shorter/more flexible. Accommodation: Private bedroom with en-suite bathroom and separate entrance A lovely family of four in Bayswater are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised Live-in Housekeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable, hands-on housekeeper who enjoys keeping a busy family home running smoothly. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards whilst providing some light wrap-around childcare support on some evenings. The household consists of two principals, two young children (aged 4 years and 18 months) and a friendly Cocker Spaniel. Duties will include: • Full housekeeping of a beautifully presented five-bedroom family home • Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management and linen care • Changing bed linen and maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout • Household organisation, including cupboards, storage areas and household systems • Grocery shopping and managing household supplies • Monitoring and replenishing household essentials • Maintaining an organised and tidy kitchen • Providing occasional wrap-around childcare, including taking over from the nanny in the early evening, supervising dinner and assisting with the children's bath time • Being comfortable around the family dog and assisting as required The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience working within a private household • Excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills • A proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach • The ability to work independently and use initiative • A calm, warm and professional manner • Confidence working in a family environment with young children and a dog • A flexible attitude and a genuine desire to become a valued part of a long-term household This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper seeking a welcoming family environment where their hard work and initiative will be truly valued. *Please note that we cannot guarantee a response to every application*
