Join Our Team as a Local Safeguarding Board Training and Development Officer! Location: Havering Rate: 20.92 PAYE Hour Hours: 18 hours a week Term: Temp Are you passionate about safeguarding and professional development? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Local Safeguarding Board Training and Development Officer based in Havering, Greater London. About the Role: As a key member of the Safeguarding Directorate, you will: • Develop and deliver an annual safeguarding training programme for both children and adult boards. • Organise engaging training events tailored to the specific needs of our community. • Promote the vital work of Havering Safeguarding Boards through impactful training and events. • Analyse training outcomes and present quarterly reports to improve service quality. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct annual training needs analyses to ensure our offerings match community needs. • Deliver a minimum of 30 training sessions each year across various disciplines. • Establish and manage a network of approved trainers while maintaining quality assurance. • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to strengthen safeguarding practises.
