Job description

The successful applicant will join an established, successful and enthusiastic team in delivering quality anaesthetic, peri-operative and critical care services to the population of West Dorset and the Purbecks. This includes anaesthetic support for the hospitals surgical teams including Orthopaedics (adult and paediatric), Ophthalmology, Maxillo-facial, ENT (adult and paediatric), Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Urology, Paediatric Dental, Colorectal, Renal Access and General Surgery. Anaesthetic support is also provided in the radiology suite, endoscopy unit and for dental sedation. There will be some commitment to teaching within normal clinical work. It is hoped that it will be possible to accommodate a specialist interest to complement the skills of the successful appointee. Applicants should have obtained their CCT.
