LVT floor layer

Job Overview We are seeking a LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) Floor Layer. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing LVT flooring across the site. Mastic skill is essential to finish LVT installation Responsibilities • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring they are ready for flooring installation • Measure and cut LVT materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces • Install LVT flooring according to schematics, manufacturer instructions, and project plans • Use carpentry skills to create precise cuts and secure subflooring if necessary • Apply adhesives and sealants properly to ensure long-lasting adhesion of flooring materials • Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards • Assist with other construction tasks such as painting or minor carpentry as needed to support project completion Requirements • Proven construction experience, particularly in flooring installation or related trades • Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, pry bars, trowels, and measuring devices • Knowledge of carpentry techniques and ability to interpret schematics and blueprints • Experience with power tools including drills, cutters, and sanders for efficient installation • Familiarity with construction painting is a plus for preparing surfaces before flooring installation • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality workmanship Pay: £35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
