Maintenance Engineer £51,250 Deeside Continental Days/Nights (2days/2nights/4off) gap technical are proud to be representing an established manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Deeside. Performance Objectives • Promote and Carry out Preventative Maintenance • Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose • Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications • Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines • Installation of new machines and equipment when required • Actively promote safe working practices • Review and Advise on Engineering requirements • Work with and Coordinate Contractors as and when required • To contribute to company objectives and values • To adhere to Company Rules / Health and Safety / Environmental Standards and Practices • To attend training and continuous development opportunities as required. • Continuously look for improvements to the service and for effective good practice within the role. • Alignment with the company's core values Person Specification • Works well under pressure • Good verbal and written communication skills • Technical knowledge of food process equipment and wrapping machines • Excellent understanding of how the machinery that they are working with operates. • To have excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills. • Good interpersonal and management skills are always an asset. • Welding/fabricating skills (desirable) Apply Please send your CV via the apply now option If you have any questions or are interested in any other opportunities we may have, please do not hesitate to contact us.
