Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: West Devon - Okehampton Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 Shift: Days Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated manufacturing site in West Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop both technically and professionally within a market-leading business that continues to invest heavily into the site and its people. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and production efficiency. Sector – Factory Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer · Either electrically or mechanically biased – electrical bias preferred. · Backgrounds considered from manufacturing, industrial, or Armed Forces REME (Army, Navy, RAF). · Comfortable working in tough industrial working environments. · Full UK driving licence. · Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance. Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer · Hands-on fault-finding experience. · Recognised engineering qualification. · Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer · Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
