Maintenance Operative

Location: Bristol, BS2 8AU Job Type: Temporary Duration: 5 weeks Days: Monday – Friday (5 days) Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch) Salary: £13.50 per hour Overview Simon Lincoln Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a Temporary Maintenance Operative to join the team at King Square Studios in Bristol for an initial 5-week assignment. This is a hands-on role supporting the site team with general maintenance, repairs and making good throughout the property. We are looking for a reliable individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of work and customer service. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Carry out general maintenance and repair work throughout the property. • Complete basic painting and decorating tasks. • Perform minor plumbing and joinery repairs. • Replace fixtures and fittings where required. • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks. • Support room inspections and prepare rooms for incoming residents. • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. • Maintain a clean and organised working environment. • Work closely with the site management team to resolve maintenance issues promptly. Skills & Experience • Previous maintenance or facilities experience is essential. • Basic skills across painting, plumbing, joinery and general repairs. • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Friendly and professional approach with excellent communication skills. • Reliable with a strong work ethic. • Immediate availability preferred.
