Management Accountant

Job Title : Management Accountant Salary : £50K Start Date: ASAP Location : Blackpool An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join a growing and ambitious Group of Companies with its Head Office based in Blackpool. This is an excellent role for an experienced Qualified Management Accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business growth. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, producing accurate financial information, and helping to lead a small finance team. As a Management Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Support the Financial Controller with the monthly management accounts and month-end close process • Prepare accurate and timely management reporting across the Group • Deliver detailed variance analysis and financial commentary • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting • Support year-end audit activities and statutory reporting requirements • Ensure robust financial controls and procedures are maintained • Supervise, mentor, and support the development of a small finance team • Partner with operational managers to provide commercial and financial insight • Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies About You: • Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA Accountant • Previous experience working as a Management Accountant within a commercial organisation • Strong management accounting, reporting, and analytical skills • Experience supporting or supervising finance team members • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively What's on Offer: • A fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a successful and expanding Group • A varied and commercially focused role with significant exposure to senior management • The chance to support and develop a small finance team • Career progression opportunities as the business continues to grow • Competitive salary and benefits package • Blackpool-based Head Office with excellent commuter links • Must live within commutable distance to Blackpool
