Following significant investment and continued expansion, they're looking to strengthen their finance team with an ambitious individual who wants to develop alongside the business. This is an opportunity to join a company that's investing in its people, systems and future, offering plenty of variety, ownership and exposure beyond a traditional management accounts role. You'll be responsible for producing the management accounts while taking ownership of some key areas of the finance function. Initially, you'll lead improvements to the fixed asset register and strengthen financial controls around overhead expenditure before becoming increasingly involved in budgeting, commercial analysis and finance projects as the business continues to grow. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems and making a visible impact. Key Responsibilities • Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register, reconciliations and ongoing maintenance. • Prepare journals, balance sheet reconciliations and support monthly management accounts. • Analyse overhead expenditure, preparing accruals and prepayments where required. • Monitor recurring operating costs and improve financial controls. • Support finance process improvements and systems development. • Assist with an upcoming ERP implementation project. • Work closely with colleagues across the wider business to improve financial reporting and accuracy. For this Management Accountant role, you'll ideally be: • Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA (or actively studying). • Experienced within a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position. • Confident with month-end accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. • Proficient in Excel. • Proactive, organised and keen to take ownership. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve. For this role you will get: • • £ salary • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • Genuine career progression within a rapidly growing business. • Study support towards CIMA or ACCA. • Broad exposure across projects, systems and commercial finance. • Flexible working options • Friendly, collaborative culture where ideas are encouraged. • Opportunity to make a real impact within an ambitious finance team.
