Manager – Real Estate Accounting Location: London (Hybrid – 4 days office) Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 + Bonus + Benefits We are partnering with a leading and highly regarded real estate investment platform seeking an experienced Manager – Real Estate Accounting to take ownership of a sizeable accounting function and lead a high-performing team. This is a pivotal leadership role suited to an individual with strong technical accounting expertise across real estate structures, combined with proven experience managing and developing teams within a fast-paced investment environment. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting and reporting processes across a portfolio of real estate assets and structures, while managing a team of up to 15 professionals. Key responsibilities include: • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants • Overseeing fund and SPV accounting across complex real estate structures • Reviewing and approving financial statements, management accounts, and investor reporting • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end and quarter-end close processes • Acting as a key point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders • Driving process improvements, controls, and operational efficiencies across the function • Supporting senior leadership with strategic reporting and business insights The Candidate • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) • Significant experience within real estate, private equity, or fund accounting environments • Proven team management experience, ideally overseeing teams of 8–15 individuals • Strong technical understanding of UK GAAP / IFRS within real estate structures • Experience working with complex SPVs, joint ventures, and multi-entity structures • Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior level • Highly organised with a proactive and solutions-driven approach The Opportunity This role offers the chance to step into a senior leadership position within a well-established and growing real estate platform, with clear visibility to senior management and genuine scope to shape and improve the function.
