Job description

The Business: A specialist professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join its team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The firm advises clients on complex, high-value matters involving commercial, financial, and reputational risk, operating across both UK and international markets. The RoleReporting to the Head of Marketing & Business Development, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in delivering strategic marketing and business development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing campaigns, supporting stakeholder engagement, and driving marketing activity across a variety of channels. Key responsibilities will include: * Planning, delivering, and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. * Managing and developing marketing systems, including CRM, website, email marketing, and event platforms. * Writing, reviewing, and editing marketing content to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment. * Collaborating with colleagues across the business to support marketing and business development objectives. * Leading the management of social media channels and content planning. * Coordinating with external agencies and suppliers to deliver marketing projects and campaigns. * Managing the promotion and distribution of articles, insights, and thought leadership content. * Overseeing submissions for industry awards, rankings, and professional directories. * Producing regular reports and analysis on campaign performance, website activity, and social media engagement. * Advising senior stakeholders on marketing initiatives and supporting the delivery of strategic business development plans. * Raising awareness of marketing services internally and supporting wider business objectives. * Assisting with internal training, onboarding, and marketing best-practice initiatives. The PersonThe successful candidate is likely to possess some, or all, of the following skills and experience: * A minimum of four years' experience within a marketing or business development role. * Experience gained within professional services, legal, financial services, consultancy, or a similar environment. * A proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns from planning through to execution and analysis. * CIM qualification (or equivalent), currently studying towards one, or willingness to undertake professional development. * Experience using CRM systems, CMS platforms, email marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics software. * Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media management. * Experience planning and delivering both virtual and in-person events. * Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Excellent written communication, copywriting, proofreading, and editing abilities. * A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach to work. * High professional standards and strong attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
