Maths Specialist Graduate - Secondary School - Hillingdon - September 2026 Start - Full-Time Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain invaluable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching? Do you have a passion for mathematics and want to inspire young people to develop confidence and achieve success in the subject? Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Hillingdon seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Maths Specialist Graduate from September 2026. This full-time role is ideal for a recent Mathematics graduate or someone with a strong mathematical background who is considering teacher training and wants to gain hands-on experience within a secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Maths teachers, support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in education. The RoleAs a Maths Specialist Graduate, you will provide academic support to students across the Maths department, helping to raise attainment and encourage a love of learning. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Supporting students in Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions to improve understanding and boost attainment. • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons. • Supporting students preparing for GCSE examinations. • Explaining mathematical concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. • Encouraging students' confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning. • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff. • Supporting classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment. • Assisting with revision sessions, homework clubs, and enrichment activities where appropriate. • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with safeguarding, confidentiality, and school policies.
