The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across different levels, supporting their academic development and helping them achieve their educational goals. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons. • Teach students across GCSE and Functional Skills Maths programmes. • Assess, monitor, and track learner progress. • Provide constructive feedback and tailored support to students. • Maintain accurate records in line with college requirements. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. • Support learner achievement, retention, and progression. Requirements • Relevant degree or qualification in Mathematics or a related subject. • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) desirable. • Experience teaching Maths within Further Education, Secondary Education, or Adult Learning settings. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. • Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
