Maths Lecturer • Location: London South East • Job Type: Full-time • Salary: £26.01 PAYE (£30 per hour Umbrella) • Interview Date: Friday 10th July, between 9 am – 12 midday • Start Date: Wednesday 19th August (flexibility in start will be considered) Join one of London’s largest and most successful further education providers. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Maths from Entry to GCSE level. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact students' lives, supporting them to achieve their career and life ambitions. Day-to-day of the role: • Teach Maths to students of varying abilities from Entry Level to GCSE. • Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department. • Inspire students using your industry experience and academic knowledge. • Participate in marketing events and promote the Maths curriculum area. • Maintain accurate student records and perform administrative duties to support effective teaching. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Right to Work in the UK without restrictions on hours. • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent). • Minimum of two years post-qualification teaching experience in UK secondary, further education, sixth form, academy, or alternative provision settings. • Proven ability to teach GCSE Maths; Functional Skills experience at Entry Level 3 is desirable. • Relevant subject-specific qualification in Mathematics. • Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent). • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively. • Efficient administration skills for maintaining student records.
