Mechanical Engineering Lecturer Location: Rotherham Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week, all year round Salary: Up to £38,487 per annum (inclusive of MFS) About the Role Reed Further Education are working in partnership with an education provider in Rotherham to recruit a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer. This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across mechanical engineering programmes using a blend of practical, theoretical and digital methods. Please note this role is classroom-based and does not require CNC, lathe, or milling expertise. Key Responsibilities • Develop creative and engaging learning resources to support high-quality teaching and learning • Deliver lessons using a blended teaching approach (practical, theoretical and digital) • Monitor and track learner progress to support positive outcomes • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet departmental and organisational objectives • Equip learners with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for future careers Requirements • Level 3 or above vocational qualification in a relevant engineering discipline • Teaching qualification and assessor award, or willingness to work towards • Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences • Strong understanding of effective teaching methods About Reed Further Education Reed Further Education are a leading recruitment specialist, working with colleges, universities, prisons and training providers across the UK.
