This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Construction department delivering high-quality Multi-Skills Construction programmes to learners looking to build successful careers within the sector. With full teaching qualifications provided, this role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who wants to move into education while continuing to use their practical skills and industry expertise.
You will deliver a mixture of practical workshop sessions and classroom-based learning, helping students develop a broad range of construction skills, technical understanding and workplace confidence. You will support learners throughout their journey, preparing them for employment and helping them achieve their qualifications.
The college has a strong focus on developing its staff and provides excellent support, training and progression opportunities. Whether your background is Carpentry, Brickwork, Property Maintenance or another area of construction, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in education.
The Role
• Deliver Multi-Skills Construction programmes across a range of levels
• Support learners to develop practical construction skills and industry knowledge
• Full Teacher Training and Qualifications provided
• 35 hours per week, all year round
• Based in Aylesbury
The Person
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant Construction trade
• Experience across multiple trades would be advantageous
• Tradespeople from backgrounds such as Carpentry, Brickwork, Property Maintenance or General Construction encouraged to apply
• Looking to move into education or already have teaching experience
• Motivated by supporting the next generation of construction professionals
