Job Title: Mechanical Modifications Technicians Location: East Yorkshire Hourly Pay Rate: £21.57 Paye / £29.00 Umbrella Shifts: Minimum of 45 hours a week Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 06:30 - 15:30 Duration: On-going contract Position Summary: Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you who will initially be engaged for the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock. You will be responsible for: * Carrying out mechanical and interior pre-sale modifications including underframe work * Recording work via internal IT systems * Carry out inspections and checks to ensure fleet reliability * Identify improvements and feedback into team leader * Advise and rectify any defects that are found Qualifications / Education required: * Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in a Mechanical/Engineering discipline. * Minimum 2 years Mechanical Rolling Stock Modifications experience PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots) Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
