Mixed Tax Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mixed Tax Manager to join a thriving practice that has experienced rapid growth. Client Details The company is a well-established firm of chartered accountants, servicing a diverse range of businesses across the UK. They are a three partner firm and have a headcount of circa 30 staff. Description • Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. • Prepare and review tax returns and computations. • Provide tax planning advice to clients. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. • Manage and mentor junior members of the team. • Ensure all tax work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company procedures. • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients. • Inheritance tax planning. • Profit extraction tax calculations. • Contribute to the development of the company's tax department and services. Profile A successful 'Mixed Tax Manager' should have: • Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (CTA, ACCA, ACA). • Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a tax role. • Strong technical knowledge of both corporate and personal tax. • Excellent communication and relationship building skills. • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members. • A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Offer • An estimated salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum. • Flexible working options (the client is happy to look at candidate seeking part-time and full-time hours).
