Mortgage Advisor

Mortgage Advisor City of London Permanent £40,000 - £60,000 cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Mortgage Advisor to work with them on a permanent basis. The responsibilities of the Mortgage Advisor will include: • Provide bespoke mortgage advice to affluent and high-net-worth clients, particularly from the Middle East. • Build and manage relationships with clients, introducers, and industry professionals to generate new business. • Manage the end-to-end mortgage process, including onboarding, credit applications, and compliance checks. • Deliver excellent ongoing client service and relationship management. • Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulations and internal policies. • Work closely with private banking, credit risk, and operations teams to support efficient mortgage delivery. • Monitor market trends, mortgage products, and competitor activity. • Grow the mortgage portfolio through new business, cross-selling, and client engagement. • Manage the mortgage pipeline and achieve sales and service targets. The successful candidate will have: • Experience providing regulated and non-regulated mortgage advice, ideally to high-net-worth clients. • Strong knowledge of residential and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgages. • CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification required; CAS status desirable. • Degree educated or equivalent experience in banking or financial services. • High attention to detail, risk awareness, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
