MOT TesterLocation: Honiton, Devon Salary: £32,000–£35,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £40,000) Hours: Monday to Friday Job Type: Full Time | Permanent The RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established automotive business in Honiton. This is a Monday-to-Friday position, offering a great work-life balance alongside a competitive salary and bonus structure. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards while supporting the workshop team with vehicle inspections and light servicing work where required. Key Responsibilities • Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations. • Accurately complete MOT documentation and vehicle assessments. • Identify and report vehicle defects and repair requirements. • Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance. • Assist with vehicle servicing and minor repairs when required. • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed. • Deliver excellent customer service through accurate and professional vehicle reporting. RequirementsEssential • Valid MOT Tester licence. • Previous experience in an automotive workshop environment. • Strong knowledge of DVSA testing standards and procedures. • Full UK driving licence. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. • Experience within a main dealer or independent garage environment. • Diagnostic and servicing experience.
