Motor Vehicle LecturerLocation: Leicestershire Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | September Start Inspire the Next Generation of Automotive ProfessionalsAre you an experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer, Trainer or Vehicle Technician looking to take the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and knowledgeable Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join a successful Further Education college on a permanent basis from September. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining practical workshop delivery with classroom-based teaching, helping learners develop the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed for a successful career in the automotive industry. The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across IMI Level 2 and Level 3 Motor Vehicle programmes, alongside practical workshop sessions. Working within an experienced curriculum team, you will support learners to achieve their qualifications while creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence, independence and employability. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging teaching across IMI Level 2 and Level 3 Motor Vehicle programmes. • Deliver practical workshop sessions and demonstrations. • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements. • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback. • Support students to achieve positive outcomes and progress into employment or higher-level study. • Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum. About YouWe're looking for someone who has: • Experience teaching or training Motor Vehicle qualifications. • Strong practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. • Experience delivering IMI qualifications (Level 2 and/or Level 3). • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one). • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • A genuine passion for supporting learners to succeed.
