Multi Skilled Craftsperson – Painting Decorating and Maintenance

The post holder will work appropriately to their core specialist skills and level of qualification. The main activities of the role are painter; maintenance; reactive repairs; compliance monitoring and associated remedial work. Will perform work of routine and non-routine non-complex and complex nature, responsible for all repairs and routine planned maintenance activities as directed by management. Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures, taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment. For small repairs, the post holder may work alone. On larger projects will work in a team, alongside other estates team staff such as tilers, plumbers, bricklayers and carpenter and may have to travel between sites. The post holder will undertake condition surveys, evaluating inspection reports and maintenance repairs, improvement and capital work across the Estate and other Buildings as directed by management, ensuring compliance with the Trust safety standards and procedures.
