We're looking for a talented Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering Team at West Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same, and where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on safety, reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement. Working Pattern This role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern: • Days: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 14:30 • Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 14:30 - 22:00 • Nights: Monday to Thursday, 22:00 - 07:00 Flexibility to support business and operational requirements is essential. What You'll Be Doing • Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults • Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability • Supporting installation, commissioning and modification of machinery • Working closely with production teams to maximise performance • Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation • Supporting a safe working environment through high engineering standards and best practice. What We're Looking For We're looking for an enthusiastic engineer with strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. Ideally, you'll have: • A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification • Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing or production environments • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems • A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement • The ability to work independently and as part of a team. It would be great if you also have experience of: • FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments • Welding and fabrication • CMMS systems such as SAP • Continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
