Are you a passionate Music Teacher? Looking for a new opportunity for September at a busy and diverse school? Tradewind Secondary are recruiting for a Music Teacher to join a high-performing and well run school in Dunstable, Bedfordshire following the Summer break. This is a busy and vibrant school with good staff morale and a long term to permanent post. The school are looking for a a teacher able to emphasise the importance of music in education. We are seeking applications from Music Teachers enthusiastic about contributing to our centre of excellence for music education and are available from September 2026 to commit to a full time or part time (0.8) basis. This post is offered on a temporary to permanent basis directly with the school with interviews to suit your availability. Based in Dunstable the school offers ample parking and is a walk and short bus ride from the train station. Parking is available for drivers and the school host a number of social events throughout the year. At KS3, students are taught a practical, hands-on curriculum in both instrumental music and singing. At KS4, students follow the OCR GCSE specification over 3 years, and Key Stage 5 students follow the OCR A Level Music course. Our extra-curricular program is extensive, and we offer all musicians opportunities to participate in ensembles and perform throughout the year. The successful candidate will be expected to lead ensembles and contribute to the wider department and support the schools concert calendar. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers, and we provide a comprehensive induction program for all new staff.
