Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Garstang who are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their performance, composition and appreciation skills. The school has a supportive leadership team, strong behaviour culture and is committed to providing students with a broad and enriching curriculum.
The Role
• Deliver Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and assess engaging lessons that inspire creativity
• Encourage participation in practical and performance-based learning
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their potential
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the department and school
The Successful Candidate
• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Is passionate about music education and student achievement
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
