National Account Manager

National Account Manager Wembley (office based) £45,000-£60,000 per annum Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established food manufacturer based in Wembley to find an experienced, customer-facing Account Manager to look after their key accounts and drive growth across the independent and speciality channel. This is a great role for a commercial, relationship-led account manager who enjoys being out in front of customers as much as managing the day-to-day — combining the profile of recognised national accounts with the opportunity to open up exciting new speciality business. The role • Manage and grow major retail and online grocery accounts, including the likes of Co-op and Ocado • Develop new and existing business across farm shops, delis and independent/speciality retail • Act as the key point of contact for your customers, building strong, lasting relationships • Travel throughout the UK for customer meetings, with a base at the Wembley office • Manage forecasting, listings, pricing and NPD conversations to grow each account • Work closely with internal teams to deliver a first-class service to customers What we're looking for • Proven account management experience within foodservice or food manufacturing • Experience managing retail and/or online grocery accounts (Co-op, Ocado or similar) is highly desirable • Confident selling into independent and speciality retail such as farm shops and delis • A genuinely customer-facing operator who's happy to travel UK-wide for meetings • Commercial, well-organised and relationship-driven What's on offer • Competitive salary depending on experience • Car allowance and expenses paid • Office-based in Wembley with regular UK travel to customers • The chance to manage recognised national accounts while growing an exciting speciality channel
