Network Engineer

Network Engineer Salary £49,000 p/a Hybrid role with occasional travel to our Nottingham Head Office, clubs which are UK wide and data centres. We're looking for a passionate, proactive Network Engineer to join our IT team and help power the systems our customers rely on every day, both in club and online. To succeed here, you’ll need: Strong technical skills in: • Juniper SRX & switching • Cisco firewalls & switching • Palo Alto / FortiGate technologies • Cisco Meraki • Network routing, security & troubleshooting • Hardware replacement and physical device support Plus the mindset to match: • Excellent communication able to translate technical issues for any audience • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving root causes • A passion for learning and adopting new technologies • Flexibility to support major incidents outside core hours • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail • A positive “can-do” attitude and a collaborative nature • A full driving licence (travel required across sites) Experience with ITIL, or industry-specific systems (bingo/gambling), is a bonus.
