Job description
Committee members are required to:
• Participate in NICE guideline induction and development training, as required.
• Contribute economic expertise to committee discussions, strengthening the role of health economics in deliberations and decision making.
• Review economic evidence and modelling.
• Support interpretation of cost effectiveness issues.
• Promote and raise the profile of economic considerations within the committee.
• Support quality assurance of guidelines and recommendations prior to internal NICE approval, including advising on and responding to stakeholder comments on draft recommendations before consultation and final publication.
• Potentially participate in topic group work between committee meetings
