The Night Shift Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising production machinery within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is based in Slough and requires a hands-on professional with technical expertise in engineering and manufacturing.

Description
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure all machinery operates at optimal performance levels.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to implement effective engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurring technical issues.
• Provide technical support during equipment installations and upgrades.

Profile
You will be an experience maintenance engineer, ideally from a manufacturing background, along with:
• Recognised Engineering qualification in Mechanical, electrical Engineering
• Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of production machinery.
• A commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
