Nursery Nurse

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional to become part of a supportive school community, helping to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive during the early stages of their education. The successful candidate must: • Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or an equivalent recognised Early Years qualification • Have previous experience working within a Nursery, Reception, or Early Years setting • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development • Be confident supporting children's learning through play-based and child-led activities • Have excellent communication skills and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues • Be caring, proactive, and passionate about supporting every child to reach their full potential The role will involve: • Supporting teaching and learning within the Nursery classroom • Assisting with observations, assessments, and children's developmental records • Encouraging children's social, emotional, and educational development • Creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment • Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to deliver high-quality provision The school offers: • A friendly and supportive leadership team • A well-resourced and welcoming Early Years setting • Excellent opportunities for CPD and career progression • A collaborative and inclusive school community • Enthusiastic children who enjoy learning • Excellent transport links across Camden and surrounding areas Position: Level 3 Nursery Nurse Location: Camden Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Long-Term (with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Interviews and trial days are taking place throughout the summer.
