Occupational Therapist

Vivid Healthcare are working with a specialist service in Southampton seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation. This role sits within a dedicated neuro rehab team, supporting patients with complex neurological conditions to maximise independence and function. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, goal oriented environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities • Managing a caseload of patients with neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, brain injury, MS) • Delivering specialist neuro rehab interventions • Completing detailed functional, cognitive, and perceptual assessments • Goal setting and treatment planning in line with rehab pathways • Upper limb rehabilitation and splinting (where applicable) • Discharge planning and community reintegration support • Working collaboratively within an MDT (Physio, Speech & Language Therapy, Neuropsychology) • Maintaining accurate clinical records Requirements • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist • Proven experience within neuro rehabilitation • Experience working with stroke and/or brain injury patients • Strong understanding of cognitive and perceptual impairments • Ability to manage complex caseloads independently • NHS experience preferred If you’re a Neuro Rehab OT looking for your next locum opportunity in Southampton, apply today or get in touch to discuss further.
